A certified step towards Water Footprint Compensation
On 25th of February Water Footprint Implementation signed a new contract for the Act4Water Standard. With this, we are happy to announce a new partnership between Water Footprint Network, Fundación Aquae and Water Footprint Implementation to amplify the impact of the Act4water Standard.
This new partnership expands the reach and impact, it brings sustainability experts, businesses and water-orientated organizations together. It ensures that water footprint compensation is both secure and verifiable, aligning with certified projects that meet sustainability standards.
Through the Act4water certification framework, organisations can transparently compensate for their water footprint while supporting impactful local initiatives.
This collaboration creates a new global benchmark for water footprint compensation, helping organizations achieve real, measurable water resilience.
