Compensation developments and knowledge sharing
In the coming year, we will present in Dubai on key developments in compensation since the launch at the UN Water Conference in New York, 2023. By sharing insights and practical experience, we contribute to informed discussions on how compensation structures can support responsible decision-making and sustainable performance.
Our aim for 2026 is to create various connections to private investments by companies to water (compensation) projects, using the Water Footprint Compensation platform.
ESG Reporting with a focus on water
ESG reporting remains a core area of focus. Organizations increasingly rely on consistent data and clear metrics to assess impact and manage risks.
Water plays a critical role within ESG frameworks, particularly in relation to environmental performance and long-term resilience. By supporting robust water-related reporting, we help organizations strengthen their understanding of where they stand and where improvements can be made.
Expanding our international presence and collaboration
In 2026, we will further expand our international presence with the opening of a new office in South Africa. This step reflects our ambition to strengthen regional engagement!
We also look forward to new collaborations. One of our colleagues will start a PhD in close cooperation with our organization and Future Water Institute of the University of Cape Town, reinforcing the link between scientific research and practical application. These partnerships enable us to deepen our expertise and continue developing data-driven approaches to water-related reporting and analysis.
